이번에도 조기할인티켓 신청기간을 놓치고야 말았다. -_-;;

노리플라이 (NO REPLY)
(SWEET SORROW)
SUNSHINE STATE

* festival guy *

::

Landlords can make investments with the deposit during the lease periods, normally two years, as long as they return the same amount of money to the tenant at the end of the lease contract.
The taxation on income from jeonse leases was scrapped in 2001 to promote joense contracts in times of low-interest rates.
GNP Rep. Kim Gwang-lim said that taxing only those who earn income from monthly lease and exempting jeonse lease landlords from taxation could provoke an equity issue.
However, critics raised concerns that imposing tax on jeonse lease income could bring a controversy of "dual taxation," because landlords might have to pay financial income tax as well if they invest the lump-sum money in a bank and earn interest income.
To avoid the controversy of dual taxation, the government is considering taxing only 50 or 60 percent of the jeonse deposit and setting a minimum taxation threshold. For example, those who make an investment with less than a 300 million won deposit money could be exempt from taxation, government officials said.
However, the opposition Democratic Party is against the revival of jeonse lease taxation, saying landlords will shift the tax burden on tenants in reality because landlords have to return the deposit money to tenants anyway.
DP Rep. Kim Jong-ryul said it is more urgent for the government to delay income and corporate tax cut plans scheduled for next year, because <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Korea will suffer a large fiscal deficit due to the economic downturn.
The government forecast this year's budget shortfall would amount to 22 trillion won, compared to a 12 trillion won surplus in 2008.
To make up for tax shortfalls, the government is also considering imposing taxes on energy-inefficient consumer goods like air conditioners, large TV sets and refrigerators.
The Finance Ministry is to announce revision of the taxation system in late August.

(yoonmi@heraldm.com)

37 Even after Jesus had done all these miraculous signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him.
38 This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet: "Lord, who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"
39 For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere:
40 "He has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn--and I would heal them."
41 Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus' glory and spoke about him.
42 Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not confess their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue;
43 for they loved praise from men more than praise from God.
