그리고 어제 비오는 날의 카래라이스~~ & 청양고추 알싸한 콩나물국까지

이번주엔 이 멋진 요리들과 어울리는 와인도 한 병 골라 놓아야지...

새벽에 지방 결혼식 때문에 버스터미널로 나섰던 제부의 전화에 나와 동생은 잠이 화들짝 깨버렸다.

"TV봐...노무현이 자살했데.."

주말은 여전히 일상적으로 보냈지만, 노무현의 죽음이 문득문득 떠오르며 많은 생각을 하게 한다.
조문을 가봐야겠다는 생각도 들고.

누가 나를 인터뷰한다면 "보통사람을 자처했던 그의 죽음이 이 사회의 보통사람의 자화상은 아닐까요"라는 얘기를 할 것 같다.

절망적이라는 말을 하기가 두렵지만 점점 사회에 대한 희망이 작아지고 작아진다.

노무현은...내가 투표해서 대통령이 된 유일한 사람이었고, 임기중 아쉬움이 많았으나 그래도 끝까지 인정하고 싶은 부분이 분명했던 사람이었고, 퇴임후 최근 사태로 실망감을 느끼게도 했지만 쉽사리 비난의 정죄를 하지 못하고 있던 사람이었다. 무었보다 앞으로 십여년은 더 자유롭게 사회인으로서 할 일이 많았을 것 같았는데...

고민고민하다가 남은 하반기 수강료를 결제했다. 매일반에서 주3일반으로 바꾸어서.

문제는 아직 요가의 재미를 느끼지 못했다는 점인데, 그래서 시간이 있어도 가기 싫어지는 날이 많으나

막상 다녀오는 길에는 스트레치도 되고, 아무것도 안하는 것보다는 낫다는 느낌은 든다.

일단 시작했으니, 연말까지만 해보자.

모 재미도 있고 운동도 되는 활동이 없을까.....

드디어 직장을 "재미"가 아닌"필요"로서 취급하기 시작했다는 느낌.
"나의 열정을 쏟아 붇는 대상"이 아닌 "적당한 생계수단"으로의 취급을 하기 시작한 것 같다.
그리고 그런 변화가 불편하지 않고 다행스럽다는 생각이 들면서 슬적 웃음이 나온다.

그동안에 비해 조금 맘 편한 직장생활을 한 번 해볼까 싶다.
지루해지지 않아야할텐데.

오늘 비가 많이 온다.
익숙한이와의 소주 한 잔이 문득 그립다.
