k 목사님 영어 통역 문제로 맨하탄에 갔다가
32가 한인타운에서 Timothy 를 우연히 만났다.

2008년 12월 기도모임에 갔다가 만나
1년만에 약혼녀와 함께 만나게 되었다...

우연이지만 하나님의 예비하심이 있는 만남...

지난주 수요일에 하나님께서 Timothy 가 운영하는 한의원에서 이런저런 이야기를 나누면서
인도하심과 비전을 나누고... 미국 대도시 타민족 선교와 미전도종족 선교 등등...
몇몇 얘기를 나누다가 12월 마지막 주에 있게 될 선교 컨퍼런스에 함께 가기로 하고....
몇주전... 우연히 사이트에서 본 컨퍼런스 광고... 그냥 지나쳐 버렸는데... 참 신기한 것 같다...

오늘은 준비위원장이신 김 목사님 만났다...

주찬양교회에서 사역하시는 목사님..
몇주전 우드사이드에서 칼리지포인트로
교회 이전한 기사를 읽었는데... 그 교회 목사님...

와... 김 목사님을 통해 역사하시는 하나님...
그분의 간증... 너무나 놀라웠다. 가슴이 뜨거워 졌다.

김 목사님의 신실하심... 영성... 삶... 목회와 사역...
그분의 삶 가운데서 역사하신 성령님...

뉴욕에 수많은 1세 목사님들이 있지만, 수백개의 교회가 있지만...
유일하게 다민족교회를 하시는 김목사님... 팀과 김목사님과
두시간 동안 얘기를 나누면서 그분의 다민족 교회 비전과 1.5세, 2세를 향한
선교사역에 대한 같은 마음을 품으시는 것을 느끼며...

정말 성령님께서 팀, 김목사님과의 만남을 통해 역사하심을 느꼈다...

하나님께서 앞으로 어떤 일을 행하실지...

너무나 기대가 된다... 성령님께서 내 삶을 인도하는 방법과 주시는 만남...
인도하심 가운데 역사하시는 세심함... 정말 놀랍고 감사하다...

12월 마지막주... 그리고 2010년 기대하면서 갑니다..
구체화 될 비전과 인도하심.. 그리고 주실 동역자... 만남들...

성령님... 기대합니다... 역사하여 주세요...

"그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라.
이전 것은 지났으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다" (고후5:17)

요즘 하나님께서 그분의 인도하심 가운데 주시는 만남 가운데
은혜를 부워 주시고 확신을 주신다.. 기대를 갖게 하신다...

정확한 것은 모르겠지만... 하나님께서 2010년 한해 동안 더 많은 만남을 주시고
사역적으로, 개인적으로 많은 변화들이 올 것 같다.

누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라고 말씀은 얘기하고 있다.

그리스도 안에 거할때, 지금까지의 죄들, 과거의 상처들 ...
이 모든 것이 내 안에 완전히 사라지지 않지만 나를 자유케 하시는 그리스도의 보혈이 있기에
죄, 상처로 인한 나의 불완전함을 하루하루 인식하게 되고
내 삶과 환경을 바라보는 관점의 변화로 인해 난 하루하루 새로운 피조물이 되어 간다.

새로운 피조물이 되려면 항상 그리스도 안에 거해야 한다.

지정의가 필요하다. 지식을 향한 갈망, 정의를 품으며
불의와 타협하지 않는 열정, 그리고 매일 삶 가운데 그리스도 안에 거함으로
얻어지는 열매에 대한 기대를 품고 의지를 가지고 가야 한다.

매 순간 긍정적인 마인드를 가지고 모든 상황을 하나님의 마음과 눈으로 바라보고 나가야 한다.
그렇지 않으면 나의 삶을 바라보는 생각과 태도는 어느새 과거로 향하게 된다.
이것이 참 무서운 것이다... 알면서도, 노력하지만 시나브로 과거를 향해 가는
나를 보게되면 참 무섭다...

따라서 새로운 피조물이 되는 과정은... 쉽지가 않다.
매일 말씀과 씨름해야 하고 말씀 안에 거해야 하고 성령님을 모셔야 한다.
나를 새롭게 하심으로 나를 붙들고 있는, 과거로 나를 되돌려 보내고
이전것에 사로잡히는 나의 관념, 습관을 말씀으로 뿌리쳐야 한다.

예수님 안에 거함... 내가 하루하루 새로운 피조물이 되기 위한
유일한, 그리고 최선의 방법이다...

예수 안에 거하는 디아스포라의 삶...
예수 안에 거하는 선교사의 삶...

이것이 내가 평생 싸워 나가야 할 삶이고 숙제인 것이다...
